Kamalo
Kamalo is located in the center of the Séguéla region in northern Ivory Coast. It is part of the
region identified by the Cœur Vert foundation for reforestation.
The graphic design for the
Kamalo
scented candle and diffuser was created by a Uniwax designer
in Abidjan. For this summer collection, featuring large baobab trees, we wanted to showcase lush
flora and fauna.
In shades of turquoise and green, the Kamalo scented candle becomes a decorative object for
summer homes. The design is first printed on a biodegradable film using organic pigments. It is then
applied to glass, which is heated to adhere to the material while retaining a certain transparency.
The fragrances in the Sacred Trees Summer collections have moved away from the woody identities
of winter to become fresh, citrusy or even aromatic. The greediness of a hot, vibrant summer is
perfectly captured in these almost gourmet identities.
The fragrance of the Kamalo candle has beautiful citrus notes. Verbena is revealed in the top note,
giving way to lavender still in bud and dry cedar for a woody base note with all the lightness of
summer
